Bible lesson for the virus scare

Psalm 91
Read, Believe and be Blessed

Corinthians 12:1-31 (KJV)
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Note: That is to say with conviction. Those of Muslim and Jehovah’s faith do not claim Jesus as Lord. Notice they acknowledge Jesus but not as Lord, their Lord is “Allah and Jehovah” What is the problem of having Jehovah as Lord? For the Witnesses bible teaches if you really have one you have the other as Lord (I John 4:15) (5: 10-12) (2 John 9) To abide in the doctrine of Christ is to confess him as Lord as we find in (Acts 2:36).

Those of this faith are lost, is there chance for them? See (Rev. 13:7,8) & (Rev. 20:4)  In these verses we find there will be many left behind not taken with the church in the rapture (Rev. 7:9-14) Those left will have to face the beast, They who refuse to worship him will be saved, but not of the church. We believe they will be destined to occupy the new earth, but not as ministers of God as the church will be, simply to “reign” be of and with  him.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. (Denominations)
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. (Differing policy and practices.) ( Note: This difference does not allow for difference in our teaching of the scriptures.) (1st Tim:1:3)
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; Note: (Wisdom is a gift of God Prov.2:6) as is the word of knowledge which is simply knowing by revelation of God.
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; Note: as there are measures of faith there is the gift of Faith
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: Note: Discerning of spirits is to detect that which is of and not of God, there is no excuse to go along with or tolerate anything not of God in worship.
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, (Note) The church of Christ is for all men. whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Note: How can this pastor in Georgia claim Jesus and hold the Jews in distain, while Jesus was of the Jews. Such teachers lean to own understanding and not the teaching of God.

Nothing is said of the parents of Mary, mother of Jesus,  but His mother was a virgin of Nazereth married to Joseph a Jew, a town in Palestine, other scripture tell us Jesus was Jewish. Jesus was raised in Nazareth and found teaching in the Jewish synagogue. It is also written “He came unto his own and they rec’d him not (John 1: 11) his own being the Jewish people.

See his burial after the manner of the Jews (John 19:40) There is no question of the nationality of Jesus in the bible.
For the body is not one member, but many.
If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
And if they were all one member, where were the body?
But now are they many members, yet but one body.
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Note: This letter should give clear understanding of the matter of speaking in tongues, which some teach is necessary evidence of being born again” All do not necessarily have this gift. The following chapter offers more insight on this question. The whole chapter dedicated to Tongues.

We learn in (Mark 16: 15-18) Jesus gives all they who believe would do, not limited only to speaking in tongues as evidence of belief.  To teach Tongues only as sign of being born again is to say that if they do not do as Jesus teaches in Mark 16, have not come to believe, suggesting speaking of tongues is but a  preliminary step to Salvation.
